One winter night Jake the dog went out to gaze upon the stars. He then heard a disturbing noise from the trees. A black cat appeared as he walked towards his house.

After taking a good look at him, the cat meowed and another family member came but no others were to be seen. He noticed that they were walking slowly and looked very hungry so he took them inside for some milk. Jake’s owner saw what he was doing and he decided that they could use some fresh tuna from the refrigerator.

Then Jake saw that the cats were cold and sleepy so he put them on his back in front of the fire but not only to keep them warm but to let them have a peaceful sleep. Jake was feeling like a humble father that had two wonderful cat kids.

A few months later the cats were all grown up. They were beginning to cause a lot of trouble so Jake’s owner said that “it’s time for them to leave” but Jake wasn’t ready to leave them by themselves.

The next day Jake took his favourite cats outside and took them to the trees where he found them, they started walking further and further but they never turned back.

Jake felt like a humongous piece of him left but he knew in his heart that they were strong enough to take care of themselves and they could live on their own now.

Multiplication Game

I have been trying to know all my times tables off by heart.

I had good fun playing this multiplication game but it was hard and challenging because I only know some of my 8 timetables.

I am now going to practise my 8 times table so that I can play this game much better next time.

Chris was at home when he saw the TV say that there is a great golf game in town .He thought about how he was a very great golfer in the late 90’s.

He set off and came at a stop at the golfer's game place and played for a while. He was winning most of the times but he lost about three games.  When he was on the last game he was one second away from getting his ball in but suddenly a big terrifying brown grumpy bear jumped out and made him hit his ball straight across the field.

They stared nervously for a while then  they ran for about 3 miles until they got to their cars but the bear was coming too fast and he had no chance of getting in. Chris got his golf club and whacked the brown bear several times until he was unconscious. Then he called up the animal control and they took care of everything. At the end of the day when the bear was gone they played on with their game and Chris won at the end .

Kane's Digital footprint

We have been recording the websites we have visited within a period of 24 hours. We used writing, drawing and pictures to represents the websites.

Enlarging pictures

Pitchure.jpg
picture

I learned to use scale to enlarge my drawing. I used a scale of 1 cm to represent 3 cm. This means that my drawing was 3 times bigger. The task was  too hard because because  I could not do all the details. I  need more practice on this task so I can get better with the details. Next I would like to learn how to make the picture smaller so I can do big and small.
