Haiku Poem

We have been learning how to create a HAIKU poem with three lines. The first line must have 5 syllables. The second must have 7 syllables. And the third should have 5 syllables. But the catch is this poem dose not have to rhyme. First we had to come up with a noun to write about. Then we had to come up with at least three adjectives which we will use in our HAIKU. It was very frustrating for myself because I could not come up with one for the first half an hour. But then it just came to me. Now I am relieved it is over. YAY

Enlarging pictures

I learned to use scale to enlarge my drawing. I used a scale of 1 cm to represent 3 cm. This means that my drawing was 3 times bigger. The task was  too hard because because  I could not do all the details. I  need more practice on this task so I can get better with the details. Next I would like to learn how to make the picture smaller so I can do big and small.

M is for my lovely mother that shines like a diamond.

O is for the only mother I would ever wish for.

T is for all the great times we have together.

H reminds me of how helpful she is.

Even though she is sometimes mean, I still love her with all my heart.

R is that she is really the best mum in the whole wide world.
